Old Forester may have to consider measures to keep it on the market longer, and that's the truly impressive thing about Old Forester Statesman. Bond is welcome to his shaken martinis.

Nose: Brooding dark chocolate carries light vanilla essence through strong campfire and oak spice.
Palate: Musty leather breaks with notes of orange citrus. Sweet cinnamon, smooth caramel and pinching baking spices round a really lovely palate.
Finish: Long, rich and beautifully spicy. Really impressive bourbon.
