Released as the 2019 holiday offering, the Maker's Mark "Making Spirits Bright" Snowflake Edition Bourbon Whiskey offers a more festive take on their flagship offering courtesy of a uniquely designed bottle. Made in the wheated bourbon style, each batch of this bourbon begins with a mash bill consisting of 70% corn, 16% wheat, and 14% malted barley which is fermented and then distilled in copper stills with the resulting spirit being left to mature in new, charred American oak. After approximately 6 years of aging, the finished bourbon is then cut with pure water and packaged in special snowflake adorned bottles before being sealed by hand-dipping them in red wax.

Nose: Once poured, this deep amber bourbon yields an inviting nose of mixed peels, cut fruit, honey, hazelnuts, and toasted oak.
Palate: A rich and creamy palate of vanilla, malt, wheat, butterscotch, spice, and nut oils.
Finish: A medium finish of more butterscotch, dry spice, and oak.
