Jim Beam is currently part of the Beam Suntory concern, the third largest producer of alcoholic beverages in the world. Beam owns two distilleries in Kentucky, in Clermont and Boston, and in 2021 the company filled its 17 millionth cask of whiskey. Beam is quite reluctant to give information about the formulas of its whiskeys, in the case of a standard Jim Beam bourbon it is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley malt. Its flagship version has been White Label for decades, aged for at least four years. The one presented here comes in our opinion from the 1980s and was intended for the Italian market.
