Nose: Wavering between notes of mango, apricot, heather honey, orange and vanilla, the first nose is impressively precise.
Palate: "The very floral attack (geranium, tuberose) reveals exotic fruits (mango, guava) and red fruits (raspberry, strawberry) on a mineral backdrop (slate, pencil lead)."
Finish: "Long, taut. The start of the finish allows a glimpse of the clarity and purity of a spirit that expresses flavours of raspberry and quince."
Distillery Information
1866. The Jack Daniel Distillery is officially established, making it the very first registered distillery within the US, with Jack as the Master Distiller. The opening of his now-famous distillery would follow shortly thereafter.
