Eagle Rare is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, famous for its rich taste and complex character. Made by the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, it's part of a range of high-quality spirits. Seagram Company first launched Eagle Rare in the 1970s. After several ownership changes, it joined the Buffalo Trace brands. Despite these changes, its quality and reputation have stayed high. The brand has won many awards over the years. Eagle Rare ages its standard bourbon for 10 years, longer than many others. It ages in charred American oak barrels. This gives the whiskey deep, woody flavours and a rich amber colour. The ageing adds complex tastes like toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather, and oak. The finish is long, smooth, and a bit sweet.
